Chief's Game Dec 21, 2008

Jeff, Brian Noerrlinger, Kent Andel and Jeff's father Jim, went to the Chiefs game yesterday. It went down as one of the coldest games in Chief's history. Temp between 8-10 degrees and wind chill of -20. And no, it was not Jeff's father, a 60 year old man that sometimes has bad joints that can be affected by weather who made them leave early. And it wasn't Jeff either. Some just aren't as tough as others. :-)

This one looks to me like Kent looking at Jim going "please, really? You aren't ready to go?"

This was a crazy man that sat a few rows in front of them.

Liberty Giving Tree Day

Jeff and I, along with friends, adopted three families this year. Today we delivered a truck load of presents, three boxes of food for each family, a turkey, a bag of potatos and a gallon of milk to each family. It was a great morning. Ryan, our six year old nephew was there (camera shy this morning) and it was so great to see his arms loaded up with presents carrying them into houses. He had a huge smile on his face the whole time. He helped us shop as well. Merry Christmas everyone! Love to you all - Anne.

My girlfriend Keri took this with her phone. Not the best, but alas.

This and That

Hey all! Thought I would post a brief update for those avid Einig Family Update Blog readers out there. :-)

I have one week left at Starlight. Next Friday is my last day! I start my new job on January 5th. Yeah! Here is their website if anyone would like to take a glance: http://www.prepkc.org/. I met with them today to sign my contract and go over a few basics. It was really nice - I walked in and got hugs all around. I am excited, this feels like the right choice for me right now and I am excited for the change. But I will be balling like a baby next Friday - I do love my coworkers at Starlight.

I am on facebook as is Micah. He and I have exchanged a few messages and he posted some pictures of the kids. WOW do they look like Jefferson's. Cory is also pregant again - due in early July. If I hear any other news from him I will make sure to pass it on. It is amazing how people can stay connected through social networking sites and blogs. (Yes, that was a not so subtle note of sarcasm.) Jeff and I will be coming in on Christmas Day and we are hoping to meet you all at Grandma's. Jeff has to work on the 26th from St. Louis - but we knew that was going to happen. Enjoy the pics of the kids. Love to you all and can't wait to see you over the holidays - and can't wait to hear if I will have a new niece or a new nephew. (the two on the left are Micah's - the one on the right in pink is Cory's. Noelle, Jonah and Hannah.)

Hi everyone, well we had a fantastic Thanksgiving and ,as usual, Chris & Jim did a fabulous job.  I was suppose to bring a camera and I forgot. Sorry!  Larry and Stephanie and their two girls were in.  Scott had to work over the holiday.  Amanda and Kelsey are two very nice beautiful girls.  Bo & Kathy are in for a little longer as Larry and his family left today.  Everyone looks good.  We missed some of the Einig children as they were sick.  Get well Peyton and Nicholas!  Karen was also down due to some very tough mountain biking!

Dad and I started with the decorating yesterday.  And, after some direction from me we got the houses in place and the mantel done.  Today I am attempting some of the dining rooms.  Going to Grace and Tom's for dinner tonight so that should be nice.  Hope all are enjoying the time off.  Love Mom

17 weeks

We just got back from our 17th week apt. "Monkey" aka baby is growing well and is now 5 inches long and weighs in at 5 ounces. We got to hear the heartbeat and it sounded wonderful. It was much easier to find this time. The nurse was surprised to hear my heart skip a beat while she was taking my blood pressure. She had never heard anything like that before. I assured her and my doctor that my heart has been checked out and that I have been diagnosed with an irregular heart beat. My gyno wants me to send over my heart monitor tests so that he knows what he is dealing with. He said it should not be a problem but when I get further along the baby "steals" so much of my blood so my heart could potentially be compromised. So, he most likely will look at my heart monitor results and he wants to run an EKG just to check things out. But he does not seem too worried and I do not feel it so I think should it be fine. Should I start feeling my heart skip around then we will have to pursue something.

I am feeling better. The puking seems to be going away, which is great. I puked twice last week but I really do feel as if it is on the tail end. Next apt. we will find out the sex, Dec. 10th. We are really excited to find out!!!!!

Here are a few pictures from Branson. Michele Atkins and I were trying to be serious in the cowboy pic. but as you can see it did not work out so well. We had a good time but boy was it cold. I do not think I have ever been as cold as I was on Saturday. We stayed in a house that allowed dogs so of course Kasey went too.
