Dinner and a Play

Last night we went to the Kansas City Repertory Theatre which is now under the direction of the fabulous Eric Rosen. We saw their first show of the season, Clay, and it was spectacular. It was a one man hip hop show and was some of the best theatre I have seen since Chicago. In fact, this show was done at Lookingglass as well, which is where I used to work in Chicago.

The Kansas City Rep has a new space down in the Power and Light District. This was our first time venturing down there and oh my gosh is it cool. Check out there website: http://www.powerandlightdistrict.com/. We had a fabulous dinner and a few drinks wandering around the area and we had a blast. There were people of all ages there, some great music playing and we are already making plans to head back. Whomever comes in town next - we would love to take you there!
