Updates from Mom, Dad, Chris, & Fran

Hi everyone, just wanted everyone to know that Dad will have his second surgery on his right eye on February 19th.  Hopefully, this will go well and he'll be back to seeing with both eyes.  His right eye has never been the best one so we just have to go in with lots of optimism and prayers.  We are moving back all the furniture today as we got it cleaned yesterday.  In this economy new carpeting is not in the picture.  We go today to Cirque du Soleil to see Saltimbalco.  We both are really looking forward to that.  Thursday night we went to Kemol's in their new digs on the top of the Metropolitan building.  We went with the Schenks for an early bird special and it was fantastic.  Quite a good menu, magnificent view, and a good time.  They are only open for dinner Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They do open for lunch during the days.  They were very honest with saying no business with the economy and the Highway 40 closing.  So sad that so many people are suffering.  This is our week to take Grandma and Grandpa out to dinner so Tuesday we will be taking them to Yia Yia's.  We go every other week with them and they are excited everytime.  I hope I'm like that at that age and better yet I hope I'm still here.  Take care and we love you all.

I didn't realize he was having a surgery this month. If you need any help on the 19th or if dad needs help afterwards with anything, let me know. I am usually in and out, and can always pick something up or drop by if he needs help with something.

I have not been to Kemoll's in years. I used to LOVE one of their entrees there and their garlic bread. Yum! We are going to Bristol's tonight with some old friends...the location in O'Fallon off Winghaven has a really GREAT atmosphere!!

Will be interested to hear how you guys like Saltimbanco. We took the kids to see it last year and they really enjoyed it. It seems like no matter which Cirque du Soleil performance you see, they always amaze you.
